Crate Report — May 11, 2026

Radio week. Deadbeats #372 (May 5) ran the trap-side gamut — Chime, Saka, Slang Dogs — but the row that matters historically is Skream & Benga remixing "You're A Star": the OG lineage is doing victory laps on a show built for the new school, and the crowd noise in the comments says the kids know exactly who that is.

Deep Tempo S08 EP04 is the denser scan: Machinedrum and Distance in the same episode is a range statement, but the desk's eyes are on Hijinx and WZ. Hijinx keeps appearing wherever White Peach is about to move, and WZ is now two sightings in seven days — the desk filed the IFS remix on Friday. When both passes hit the same name independently inside a week, that's not coincidence, that's a trail.
